Our review
This is a utility knife for the tackle box rather than a dedicated fillet knife. The 5-inch G4116 German stainless blade is stiff, and the spine has serrations for sawing through frozen bait.
That short, stiff blade is precise on bluegill, crappie and perch, where a long flexible blade can be awkward. The super-polymer grip is non-slip, and the sheath locks the handle in place and has open slots so water drains out.
If you want one knife for bait duty and the occasional panfish fillet, it's good value. For filleting bigger fish, choose a longer, flexible blade.
