Our review
The Razor-Fin takes a different approach to staying sharp. Instead of sharpening, you press the lock release in the handle, pull out the dull blade and click in a new one. The box includes three 5-inch fillet blades, a 3-inch gut-hook blade for cleaning fish, and a storage box for spares. Extra blade packs are sold separately.
Outdoor Edge lists the blades as Japanese 420J2 stainless. 420J2 resists rust well but doesn't hold an edge as long as harder steels, which matters less here because you replace the blade rather than resharpen it.
The handle is a light Grivory fiberglass/nylon frame with blue rubber TPR inserts for grip, and a stainless pocket clip. The whole knife weighs about 4.1 oz, and the blade locks open with a lockback. There's a pocket clip but no sheath.
The trade-offs are the short blade and the running cost of replacement blades. For panfish, trout and walleye, especially if you hate sharpening, it's a clever and compact option. For larger fish, choose a longer fixed blade. When we checked, the Amazon listing was sold by a third-party seller (Colorado Knife and Tool) and shipped by Amazon.
